I love the luster, it's not super greasy looking but also not a flat finish in my hair, the hold is great and stands up all day in any weather, it washes out great too (1-2 normal washings) but doesn't seem to mind getting wet in a rain or swim. I decided to give this Purists Pomade a try when I first ordered some wax from Stache Salt to see how it was, and I was blown away. for a few years I landed on Slickr Than Hell pomade for a decent blend of luster, hold, ease to apply, and relatively easy to wash out (usually about 2-3 normal washings).

My Full Review: I've gone through A LOT of pomade's over the last decade+, some with great hold, and feel but hard to work with out of the tin, some that are easy to work with but super greasy, some that break down on a humid day and some that require soaking your hair in olive oil and washing it 3x with Dawn to get it back out. If your hair is very thick and stubborn when it doesn't want to lay right it may not be quite strong enough of a hold to force it.
Leaves a moderate luster/shine to the hair that doesn't look dry or greasy. Product description: great hold, even in wet or humid conditions. TLDR version: Best pomade I've ever used, and I've used a lot. South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands (GBP £)
